Check out this hidden restaurant/bar for some great music, beers, and possibly tacos. The sweet spot is ~ 10-12 for good vibes before heading out to someplace more late night.

Turn the volume up at Haus and let the night take you where it wants.

Get a couple drinks and watch a couple shows at this fun multi-stage venue. I would check the lineup in advance since sometimes the talent can be a miss and they cover a lot of genres. But when it's right it's right.

Guess whose next on the late night lineup? You are. Sing your heart out after getting some inspiration and liquid courage from Rockwood.

Get the duck. No excuses here. This is a tiny hole in the wall by the makers of RedFarm (as you can probably tell since its underneat it...). Like i said before Get the duck and maybe be prepared to eat a communal table.

After feeding your stomach, feed your soul @ terra blues. I've been to a lot of blue's clubs in New York and this one always stood out for it's authenticity.

Check out the newly renovated Cooper Hewitt for some modern design inspiration. When I went there was a Pixar process exhibit in the innovation lab.

Head north just a few blocks for some low-brow but high-quality beer and a satisfying grilled cheese.
